I had the iQue 3600 earlier. It just died recently so I was in the market for a GPS unit. I settled on this one (nuvi 265wt) as it had lifetime traffic/bluetooth + spoken street names.
The older unit had a hard-time getting a lock on my position (I live in Manhattan, with lots of tall buildings); this unit is way better, but I was still disappointed with the satellite acquisition time.
Overall the unit is quick, Bluetooth works well with my Palm Centro, spoken directions are clear and the 3-D map view is cool.
I think with the free (included) life-time traffic it's a great value. |
