focused on your driving. In addition, retrieve and dial numbers from your
personalized phone book or the phone’s call history log. You can also
make calls from the StreetPilot c550's huge points of interest database

Integrated Traffic Receiver
The StreetPilot c550 includes an innovative new traffic receiver
integrated into the power cable which provides real-time traffic
services*. The traffic service notifies drivers of traffic,
construction, and weather delays (where available*) and automatically
suggests alternative routes. See

Network service is included, after which the customer may subscribe to 15
months of service for $60.00. *Traffic services available only in select

GPS Navigator
The
StreetPilotc550 comes with preloaded maps of North America with City
Navigator North America NT 2008 and includes automatic routing, 2D
or 3D map perspective, and turn-by-turn voice directions that speak
street names along with the ability to audibly announce the name of
upcoming streets and points of interest - letting drivers keep their eyes
on the road while navigating through busy traffic and convoluted roadways.
The preloaded database features nearly six million points of interest—including
hotels, restaurants, gas stations, ATMs, and attractions. The StreetPilot c550 also accepts customized points of interest
(POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras. The proximity
alert feature warns of upcoming custom POIs.
MP3
Player
The built-in MP3 player lets users browse music by artist,
album, song, or genre. Music can be loaded onto an SD card and is
“drag-and-drop” easy – no special software is required. The
StreetPilot c550 includes an audio output jack that allows users to wire
MP3 audio, telephone audio, and turn-by-turn navigational voice prompts
directly into their vehicle’s audio system.
