Notes:
1. These GPS units require a GARMIN data card to upload
MapSource maps. Garmin data cards are ONLY compatible with these
units.
2. You cannot use
this product to update the maps on your preloaded Garmin device. To order
updated map data for your preloaded Garmin device, visit
the Garmin Map Updates page.
4. Limited
compatibility. These units do not support all
features.
6. Some older units may require a software upgrade to be
compatible. Garmin provides free downloads for upgrading it's
GPS units at: http://www.garmin.com/support/download.jsp.

To estimate the number of
maps a memory card will hold divide the memory card size by the
average* map size. This estimate is subject to the following
limits:
Original StreetPilot Monochrome and
StreetPilot ColorMap - 50 map limit
StreetPilot III - 650 map limit
All other Garmin units that accept proprietary Garmin data
cards - 525 map limit.
iQue 3600 and StreetPilot 2610/2620/2650 - not yet published -
may be as high as 2,000 map limit.
* Individual map sizes can vary greatly from
"average" map size. |
Please Note: To provide its customers
with the most complete and accurate electronic maps achievable at reasonable
cost, Garmin uses a combination of government and private data sources.
Virtually all data sources contain incomplete or inaccurate data to some degree.
In addition, features are continually changing, so the data may not reflect the
latest modifications and/or additions.
