GARMIN MapSource Roads & Recreation Europe CD-ROM

All of Garmin's European Roads & Recreations have now been combined and updated into this single Roads & Recreation Europe CD which covers all of Western Europe. MapSource Europe includes features you won't find on a paper map. With MapSource Roads & Recreation Europe you can access detailed map data for selected countries in Western Europe and download it to your compatible Garmin GPS see (MapSource Map Transfer Compatibility Table). In addition to the updated map data, we've added enhanced features.

MapSource Roads & Recreation Europe is designed for those units that only have limited internal memory. Garmin recommends MapSource MetroGuide Europe instead for compatible GPS units (see MapSource Map Transfer Compatibility Table). MapSource MetroGuide Europe supports the "Find" function for "Points of Interest" and "Address Lookup" of these units while Roads & Recreation Europe does not. However, Roads & Recreation Europe is less expensive and uses less memory.

Map detail of MapSource Roads & Recreation Europe is identical to City Select Europe but MapSource Roads & Recreation Europe does NOT require any region unlocks.

CD-ROM contains 1,558 maps, "average*" map size 0.20 MB, 307 MB total
*Individual map sizes can vary greatly from "average" map size.

Virtually all data sources contain incomplete or inaccurate data to some degree. In addition, features are continually changing, so the data may not reflect the latest modifications and/or additions.

Compatibility: The trip and waypoint management functions of this product work with nearly all GARMIN GPS units, excluding the GPS100 family and panel mount aviation units. See Garmin MapSource Compatibility for units that support the map download feature of this product. Some GPS units require a GARMIN data card to upload map data (see Garmin MapSource Compatibility).

System Requirements: PC with Windows 2000 or newer operating system; 32MB RAM minimum; 2 GB free hard disk space; CD-ROM drive for CD versions or DVD drive for DVD versions; available serial and/or USB port, 256 color display adapter and monitor (16- bit color required); and mouse or other pointing device; PC Interface cable, Internet access is recommended.
