MapSource Topo Canada
 Great
for hiking, hunting, or camping, TOPO Canada contains detailed
topographic maps, many with routable* roads and trails,
summits, peaks and other geographic points — perfect for your next
recreational outing.
TOPO Canada is not locked, so you'll receive full access to all
coverage areas. Users can download the detailed maps to compatible
GPS units (See compatible units at Garmin's
website - click on Products Tab) . The user also has the ability to pre-plan their daily
adventures from the comfort of their own home, using MapSource on the PC.
Then they can download waypoints, routes and tracks to their Garmin GPS.
MapSource Topo Canada Features include:
- Trip and waypoint management functions
- Based on digital 1:50,000 or 1:250,000 scale NTS
map data
- Search by city, point, river or lake
- Amenities such as parks, campgrounds, scenic lookouts and picnic
sites
- General shorelines and power lines
- Named portages

*Routing is supported on a PC and the StreetPilot III,
StreetPilot 2610/2620/2650, iQue 3600, GPS V, GPSMAP 60C/60CS, GPSMAP
76C/76CS, GPSMAP 196, and GPSMAP 276C. Address lookup capability is
available on a PC and compatible GARMIN GPSs (See compatible units at Garmin's
website - click on Products Tab) .
| This product is based on government topographic
maps. Government topographic maps are primarily intended to show
topography which rarely changes. The government does not update
them very often to show man made changes such as buildings,
streets, roads and trails - many government map sheets are over 20
years old. |
CD-ROM contains 7,316 maps, "average*" map size 0.52 MB,
3,786 MB total
*Individual map sizes can vary greatly from
"average" map size.

Compatibility: The trip and
waypoint management functions of this product work with nearly all GARMIN GPS
units, excluding the GPS100 family and panel mount aviation units. See Garmin
MapSource Compatibility for units that support the map download
feature of this product. Some GPS units require a GARMIN data card to
upload map data (see Garmin
MapSource Compatibility).
