Central and West. Each Region CD contains
digital topographic maps for National Parks in that regions that are
comparable to 1:24,000 scale paper charts provided by the USGS. This is
the most detailed topographical data available. If you have a map
download-compatible GARMIN GPS (See the Garmin
Product Compatibility for compatible units), US TOPO 24K National Parks will allow
you to download these maps directly to your GPS unit.

Survey topographic maps. USGS topographic maps are primarily
intended to show topography which rarely changes. The government
does not update them very often to show man made changes such as
buildings, streets, roads and trails - many USGS map sheets are
over 20 years old. |
Please Note: To provide its customers
with the most complete and accurate electronic maps achievable at reasonable
cost, Garmin uses a combination of government and private data sources.
Virtually all data sources contain incomplete or inaccurate data to some degree.
In addition, features are continually changing, so the data may not reflect the
latest modifications and/or additions.

Compatibility: The trip and
waypoint management functions of this product work with nearly all GARMIN GPS
units, excluding the GPS100 family and panel mount aviation units. See Garmin
MapSource Compatibility for units that support the map download
feature of this product. Some GPS units require a GARMIN data card to
upload map data (see Garmin
MapSource Compatibility).

or newer operating system;
32MB RAM minimum; 2 GB free hard disk space; CD-ROM drive for CD versions or DVD
drive for DVD versions; available serial and/or USB port, 256 color display adapter and monitor
