the newest GPS-based activity from Groundspeak, the people who made

Colorado 400i to allow you to download MapSource™ CD Data between your PC and
Colorado 400i. MapSource™ software also allows you to view color
maps on a personal computer, with zoom and pan functions for easy map
browsing. Users can then select individual maps in areas of interest and
transfer the maps to the Colorado 400i or other compatible GPS. Some
MapSource maps are also available preloaded on SD cards and ready for use
in the Colorado 400i.
Think of MapSource™ as an atlas that contains many
smaller maps. By choosing several of these maps, you can make a map
set. This map set can then be transferred to your GARMIN GPS, which
allows you to tailor the map detail for the geographic areas you wish to
view. For instance, if you are planning a trip by car, your map set might
only need to include those maps that are along your intended driving
route. MapSource gives you the flexibility to choose the extent of the
mapping coverage.
Use the trip and waypoint manager functions to create
